We are thrilled to share some exciting news with you - we have found the perfect plot of land to build our permanent home for Three Trees Ministries!

Before diving into the details, we wanted to express our heartfelt gratitude for the ongoing support that enables us to care for many children. This past year, we've had several new monthly supporters, received surprise gifts for immediate and ongoing needs, and welcomed several brand-new donors. This generosity makes a significant impact and has brought us to the point where we can take the next step of faith toward our permanent presence, providing a safe and loving environment for vulnerable children and teenagers for many years to come.

We started communicating last summer concerning our need for a permanent home.  At the time, our landlord told us she wanted her house back as of January.  In the fall, she let us know that her timeline had changed, which was excellent news because each time we thought we'd found a house that would work for our large family, it fell through.  Though frustrating, we knew God was closing the door for a reason.  That reason seems to be that He wants us to not only plan for a home but for additional buildings that will allow us to continue to expand our impact here at the border.  

Here are the key details about the land:

• Size: 2500 square meters (approximately 1/2 a football field)

• Location: It is conveniently situated near our young women's home, boys' and girls' shelters, and just five minutes further away from our kids' school.

• Price: Originally listed at 6 million pesos, we negotiated it down to 2.5 million pesos ($100,000 to $42,000). That's 1000 pesos per square meter or approximately $17.

We are working with an architect in the DR to design our future home and cannot wait to share those plans with you soon.
Many responded to this need over the past few months, and over $19,600 has already been earmarked for our permanent home. We aim to raise an additional $22,400 to cover the remaining costs without dipping into our operational funds.
