Pray

It is truly significant to take a moment to pray for the Dominican Republic, Haiti, and the children facing challenges there. We want to always be sure that we are aligning our goals and actions with God's will. Amidst the difficulties they face, like poverty, our prayers can be a wellspring of strength, guiding their healing and progress. And remember, through prayer, we're asking to connect with God's love for these kids in these situations. Real transformation comes from God, and by praying, we're participating in that transformative process.

We don't ask you to pray to move God's heart for these children; He loves them more than we can comprehend. Instead, let's pray to move the hardened hearts of those who might create obstacles in our efforts to help these children and others. Through our prayers, we're seeking to soften hearts, break down barriers, and bring about understanding and support where it's needed most.

Let's also take a moment to pray for the tension between Haitians and Dominicans, especially at the border. One of our core beliefs and one of our three trees comes from Revelation 22:2 which says “ …on either side of the river was the Tree of Life…The leaves of the Tree of Life are for the healing of the nations.” Pray that, through our actions and those of our children, we can begin to see unity and peace in place of fear and hatred. Our prayers can spark change and foster unity in a region marked by division.
