Imagine a 12-year-old boy leaving behind everything he knows on whispered promises of what is possible on the other side of the border. He isn’t seeking wealth and fame, but the most basic of needs like food and shelter; and for those that dream bigger, hopes of an education.

  • Home in Jimaní

    Located in the border town of Jimani in the Dominican Republic we have a home for children and adolescents in need of a family.

  • Home in Fonds-Parisien

    On the Haitian side of the border a home for adolescent boys that have been displaced from their homes

  • Transition Home

    You can’t age out of a family. This is a place for our older teens as they move into adulthood and towards independence

  • Emergency Shelter

    In the DR we coordinate with local child-welfare to provide a safe place for kid in urgent and emergency situations.

  • Haiti Youth Shelter

    Life is difficult for many pre-teens and teenagers in Haiti. Our shelter provides an overnight respite for boys sleeping on the streets.

  • Border Office

    A future goal is to establish an office at the border to meet kids, identify other needs, and intervene as soon as possible.
