Our Three Trees Family

Three Trees Ministries began with just one home for orphaned and abandoned children. That home is still at the heart of what we do. Since 2015 we’ve been family to 29 babies, children, and adolescents. Several were able to be reunited with biological family, 3 were adopted by foreign families and others have graduated high school and moved towards independence. We currently have 15 living in our main home. Several came to us as babies and have been with us 10 and 12 years now. Our 4 “Littles” are in 1st and 2nd grade and came to us as young as 11 days old. We’re the only family they’ve ever known. Others suffered under terrible circumstances before they were placed in our care as young children, but they are now experiencing healing of past trauma and know that they are loved and valuable members of a family. Our prayer is that they are able to fully accept God’s love for them and then share that love with others who may be found in the same situations that they once were.

Though we have staff to help with the day-to-day operations of such a large home, we truly live as a family. Anything a parent does for their children, we do for ours! We laugh and cry together, get into disagreements, have to lovingly discipline, celebrate the good times and grieve together when there is heartbreak, go on vacations, and make them do their homework. Parenting is no easy task, but there’s nothing we’d rather do than raise these children.
